FREE Obey God’s Word Family Guide

We recently joined a new church plant and one of the really amazing and fun things I get to do there is write curriculum for our kids ministry. I LOVE it! It’s everything I do for this ministry, but at church where I get to actually see kids (besides my own and close friends’) dive into what I create and write.

One thing I have been making is weekly family guides for parents to take home after worship. It’s so simple and requires no prep (seriously, just pick it up and go!), and it’s a really great way for families to connect with each other, talk about God together, and talk with God. There is a verse to read together, a super short lesson for parents to read, a verse to memorize, some discussion questions, and a fun activity.

I recently wrote one about obeying God’s word…which is perfect for the month of July since our theme verse is John 14:23:

“Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching.’”
