Welcome! We are so glad you are here!

We are two friends who live in different parts of the country but both have a passion to help our kids develop a real relationship with Jesus. We are in the trenches of parenthood just like you. We have good days and lots of bad ones that make for great stories--later. We often times feel like it’s hard enough to just keep everyone alive, fed, and in bed before midnight. It seems overwhelming and daunting to find time in our busy days to be intentional with our kids when it comes to their faith.

But what if there was an easy, life-giving, and fun way to help our kids experience God? What if faith at home could easily be incorporated into what you are already doing every day? We believe this is possible and so much more--which is why we believe in this ministry and are on this journey together with you.

Our purpose here is to equip parents with the tools to intentionally teach their children to pray creatively and actively. Throughout this website you will find a variety of fun and approachable prayer activities, resources for teaching about Jesus at home, and encouragement for your heart and soul as a parent. The idea is that anyone, no matter where you are in your faith journey, can find something here.

Meet Steph

Steph is married to Trevor and is mom to Calvin, Griffin, and Harriette.

She has her master’s degree in youth, family, and culture from Fuller Theological Seminary and worked in congregational youth ministry before making the decision to stay home with their kids. During her time in youth ministry, Steph developed a passion for equipping and empowering parents to show their kids a love of Jesus.

Steph knows firsthand how difficult it is to find time and energy to focus on our children’s faith formation at home. When her three kids were three and under, her main priority was to keep kids alive and fed, manage the meltdowns, and try to get some sleep. But as her kids grew, Steph realized that she had been uniquely teaching her kids about Jesus and encouraging them to pray in creative ways by using the tools she had collected over the years. Steph is passionate about the idea that communicating with Jesus can and should be part of the everyday moments in our lives.

Meet Sarah

Sarah is wife to her best friend, Eric and mom to Charlie, Brinley, Lila, and Levi.

Sarah has a degree in theater arts and a master’s degree in education. She has taught elementary school and currently works as a part-time elementary creative director at her church and has earned the nickname— “Storyteller Sarah.” She is passionate about telling stories about God’s love to kids and grown-ups.

Sarah is a recovering perfectionist. Especially as a new parent, she struggled with feeling unequipped as a mom. She often felt alone and fearful that she was somehow messing her son up or not doing enough for him. When her daughter was born and diagnosed with a heart disease at only ten days old, she decided there was no other choice but to surrender her fears to the Lord. It was then that praying with and for her kids became a non-negotiable part of her day. This practice was life changing.
